This course expands upon the foundations of modern dance technique with an emphasis on performance skills, self-expression, and musicality. Students will practice increasingly complex connecting combinations challenging kinesthetic abilities. Students will learn about the evolution of modern dance in the twentieth century and its roots in United States culture.
