    Description
    54 hours lecture per term. This course focuses on effective small group presenting and communication. It explores the foundational knowledge and practice of public speaking for successfully communicating informative and persuasive messages within the small group context. The course introduces students to the theories, techniques, and methods of small group communication. The class develops speaking, participation, and leadership skills of effective communicators within the small group setting. Students will engage in applied practice through faculty supervised and evaluated oral group presentations delivered to a live audience, through group activities, and through project group work.
