    54 hours lecture per term. This course provides the student with an overview of research-based approaches related to the care and education of infants and toddlers in group settings. This course examines theories of learning and development, regulations, and essential practices that lead to quality care and developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments for children birth to 36 months. It provides strategies to promote healthy relationships in the care and education of infants and toddlers. An emphasis is placed on culturally sensitive and inclusive care for infants and toddlers in group settings. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
