    54 hours lecture per term. This course provides a thorough and practical treatment of the importing and exporting activities involved in international trade. The course is designed to acquaint the student through a comprehensive approach to import/export as a continuous activity. It allows gaining firsthand how-to knowledge for those seeking to either get familiarized or work in the international trade industry, contemplating to start an import/export activity, or for managers wishing to expand their company's market opportunities. Special emphasis is placed on agencies involved, terms and conditions, documentation requirements and formalities, transportation, insurance, banking and finance, marketing, and sources of information.
