    Description
    54 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This course is designed to familiarize students with basic principles governing interactions between organisms and the environment. Integrated lectures, field trips, and lab sessions emphasize basic ecological principles and relationships. These include identification of plants and animals, community analysis, environmental survey techniques, laws of thermodynamics, behavioral and physiological adaptations of organisms, and ecological models.
