This course is a continuation of the focus and skill-building of the first Rendering course. The main objective of this course is creating the illusion of three dimensions on a two-dimensional drawing surface. The work covers the visual perception of space, and the artistic techniques based on it. Rendering topics include explanations of the surface qualities of various materials, and teh accurate depiction of the materials' interaction with light. This course also meets student needs in advertising, illustration and industrial design. Field trips may also be required outside of regularly-scheduled class times. (Degree Credit) (CSU)
