This course will provide an understanding of the structure, techniques, and vocabulary of transparent watercolor painting as well as encourage the student to develop conceptual, perceptual, and technical knowledge of all the design elements. A variety of traditional and contemporary methods are presented through demonstration, lecture, videotapes, individual instruction, critiques and class discussions.
