Topics include basic neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and genetics; research methods in biological psychology; the physiological mechanisms underlying sensation, perception, consciousness, sleep, emotion, stress, sexual behavior, hunger, eating, language, learning, memory, neurological disorders, psychopharmacology, and psychological disorders; and the influence of environmental and psychological factors on biology.
