    In this course, students will study and practice songwriting techniques and learn concept developments from their initial ideas to their realizations. In this course, topics will include: approaches and techniques of song composition, creating lyrics, characteristics of diverse musical styles, steps in adapting ideas to music creation, songwriting and arranging.
