- In this course, students exam and celebrate Mariachi music and other Mexican styles such as Son Jarocho and Sierreño. Through study and performance, students develop fundamental and technical musical skills necessary for stylistic performance. They explore the role of music in Mexican culture and its relation to other arts. Community and college performances required. (A, CSU, UC)
