Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIn this course, students will perform and study modern literature, with a focus on compositions by composers from the 20th and 21st centuries. They will interpret a wide range of band music, exploring works from various historical periods of classical music as well as diverse world cultures, all while developing an awareness of self-expression. Performances will take place at approved on-campus events, as well as at on-campus and off-campus festivals and competitions. Participation in all scheduled performances is mandatory. Students pursuing the Associate in Arts in Music for Transfer (AA-T) are advised to enroll in only one unit of this course. (A, CSU, UC)Usually HeldTue Thu 2:00pm–3:50pm
