    Description
    This course provides the skills and knowledge needed for a Fire Officer 4 to safely, effectively, and competently command an expanding incident including integrating fire service resources into a community emergency plan; developing or improving a plan to use mutual aid agreements; identifying assistive technology; initiating, assuming, or transferring command; developing and maintaining situational awareness; implementing a risk management process; managing an integrated communication network; establishing effective command and control communications; developing an effective incident organization; developing and using an incident action plan; deploying and managing resources; revising the incident action plan; transitioning, transferring, or terminating command; and developing post-incident analysis and maintaining incident records. This course also fulfills the coursework requirements for Extended Attack Incident Task Commander (NWCG S300). (A, CSU)
