The hospital, which consists of rotations in various departments including: emergency, surgery, labor & delivery and pediatrics, specialty units and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), certification. The field, responding with assigned paramedic preceptors, the students will assess the scene, patients and provide appropriate care. The rotations are required to produce qualified and competent EMT-Paramedics who are educated and trained in all elements of prehospital advanced life support to the acutely ill or injured patients, in accordance with local protocols and Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations.
