    This course is a survey of classic and contemporary works in Asian American literature. Through close reading, discussion, and analytical writing, students will deepen their appreciation and critical understanding of the cultural, historical, and artistic dimensions that shape these texts. Emphasis will be placed on developing interpretive skills and engaging thoughtfully with the diverse voices and experiences represented in the literature. (A, CSU, UC, Cal)
