    Description
This Capstone 2 course offers students the opportunity to apply their clinical teaching knowledge in a practical setting. Participants will demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing effective clinical teaching strategies, including the development of comprehensive evaluation rubrics for assessing the clinical competencies of dental hygiene students. Key topics covered in the course will include clinical classroom management skills, assessment and evaluation instruments, and faculty calibration as a process for ensuring standardized clinical instruction. This approach aims to enhance the reliability and validity of assessment outcomes, thereby providing a more accurate reflection of student performance. (CSU)
