    Description
    This course provides students with knowledge of dental anatomy, root morphology, orofacial embryology, and oral histology. Emphasis is on the anatomy and morphology of the primary and permanent dentition, dental terminology, the theory of embryological human development, the relationship between occlusion and function of the dentition, and the role of the periodontium and supporting orofacial structures.
