    Description
    Introduction to conventional and truss roof framing in residential construction. Instruction includes planning, selecting materials, calculations, and hands on construction of roof structures. Student will learn about load paths, structural integrity, various methods of calculations, and construction techniques. During the course instruction the student will construct conventional and roof truss structures. At the conclusion of the course the student would have adequate knowledge to construct a basic roof structure. (A, CSU)
