    Description
In this course, students will examine the histories, cultures, and migration of Sikhs in the United States with particular focus on issues of race and racialization, ethnicity, White supremacy, settler colonialism, and imperialism. Using an Ethnic Studies framework that emphasizes community-produced theory and knowledge, students conduct comparative analyses of Sikh American experiences with those of other Asian American ethnic groups.
