    Prerequisite
    Successful completion of POST Modules II and Module III prior to entrance into course. Current (within the last 3 years) in PC 832 Arrest and Firearms training requirements. Passage of the POST - Constructed Comprehensive Module II End-of-Course Proficiency Test within the preceding 12 months. Successful completion of the POST Standardized Reading Comprehension and Writing Skills Test and the POST Physical Agility Test. Proof of Department of Justice criminal history clearance to possess a firearm (PC 13511.5). Physical exam in accordance with POST standards. Sponsored by a law enforcement agency. Valid Class C California Drivers License

    Description
    This course is designed for basic entry-level training for the student preparing for a position as Level I Reserve Officer, Peace Officer or Deputy Sheriffs assigned to patrol. The course is certified by the State of California Commission on Peace officer Standards and Training (POST). Upon successful completion, the student will be eligible for employment as a Peace Officer, Deputy Sheriff, or Level I Reserve. Student must have completed Modules II and III prior to acceptance into this course. Material fees, parking fees, and facility usage fees are applicable for this course.
