High-level practical application of previously acquired knowledge and skills. Includes the essential clinical skills and duties delegated to the veterinary technician, including client education, development of patient care plans, nursing care for critical care and emergency patients, advanced sampling techniques, complete dental prophylaxis, anesthetic procedures, and complex therapeutics. Meets the required 110 hours of practical work experience in a veterinary clinical setting. Intended for students in the Veterinary Technology Program; enrollment is limited to students accepted in the program.
