The course describes obstetrical exam protocols and sonographic appearance according to the accepted standards. It also defines maternal and fetal anatomy and physiology during the second and third trimester of pregnancy. In addition, it defines exam technical factors for the improvement of image quality. Intended for students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program; enrollment is limited to students accepted in the program.
