- This course introduces beginning artists to the core concepts and techniques of painting outdoor landscapes and nature subjects in the open air on location. Students will complete small-scale one-sitting landscape paintings from observation. Lectures will consist of the art of plein air, plein air societies and communities, and plein air painting demonstrations.
