Basic vocal techniques, breathing and mouth position are practiced. Solo repertoire is learned and performed in class. This course is required for vocal music majors but open to all students desiring to begin the study of voice. Students may be required to attend concert performances at their own expense. When the course is offered in the online mode, students are expected to have access to a computer and Internet, as well as a webcam and a microphone.
