Topics include polynomial, absolute value, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions, with graphing and applications; trigonometric functions and their inverses, including graphs, proving identities, trigonometric equations, and solving triangles; systems of equations and inequalities; analytic geometry and conics; vectors and polar coordinates; and an introduction to sequences and series. It emphasizes analytical reasoning and problem-solving. The maximum UC transfer credit is 5 units for any combination of College Algebra and Precalculus courses.
