Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course looks to analyze how cultural, political, historical, and psychological dimensions of sport and movement are illustrated and portrayed in film and documentaries. The objective of this course will be to critically examine various films for the purpose of exposing the underlying themes that illuminate the role of sports in society. We will examine the complex representations of race, class, gender, identity, power, body image, and social justice within the art form.
