An overview of the importance of the sub-disciplines in kinesiology, including sport history, philosophy, pedagogy, sociology, and psychology will be discussed. The student will be introduced to career opportunities in the areas of teaching, coaching, athletic training, fitness, sport management, research, health, and recreation.
