    Description
    This course was formerly known as HIST 310 History of the United States (To 1877). This course portrays the growth of the history of America from the pre-Columbian period to 1877 focusing on its institutions and ideals, examining the decisions and developments that shaped our national heritage. The U.S. Constitution and the establishment of American government institutions are also covered.
