    Description
    placement through the assessment process. This course focuses on grammar skills at the intermediate-low level. The emphasis is on fundamental grammatical structures in statements and questions and a review of the basic English sentences including parts of speech, word order, word forms, and the simple and progressive verb tenses. This course is part of the grammar sequence which prepares ESL students to take college courses leading to a certificate, degree, or transfer.
