    Description
    placement through the assessment process. This course provides English language learners with an introduction to the basics of English grammar including parts of speech, word form, word order, and the fundamental verb tenses necessary for writing. The course is designed to provide English language learners with a fundamental understanding of English grammar and is part of the grammar sequence which prepares ESL students to take college courses leading to a certificate, degree and/or transfer.
