Transfers ToCSUCSU GE Area EDescriptionThis Contemporary Dance level IV course will extend the codified techniques of Ballet, Jazz, and Modern dance into narrative themes utilizing this 21st century expressive form. Students will participate in warm up exercises, turns, leaps, and movement phrases to better develop strength, muscular control, and flexibility. Students will synthesize dance terms and choreographic principles to create thematically meaningful choreography for formal performance. Students will be required to supply appropriate dance attire and dance shoes for rehearsal and performance, as well as attend a live performance which may incur a fee.Usually HeldFri 12:30pm–3:35pm, Fri 12:30pm–3:05pm
