    Description
    This course provides students with basic knowledge of relational, social, and cultural development through the study of interpersonal communication dynamics. Emphasis is placed on the personal, situational and cultural influences on interaction, with attention given to human perception, interpersonal dynamics, power and conflict enactment, verbal and nonverbal symbol systems, and listening behaviors. Through theory, discussion, and structured exercises, students will explore various approaches to interpersonal relationships in personal and professional contexts.
