Students will work with real world data sets to gain hands-on experience in data collection, sampling techniques, and in conducting observational and experimental studies. Students will explore methods for identifying relationships, predicting outcomes, and will develop skills in writing programming scripts, creating and interpreting visualizations, and in effective communication of insights. Ethical considerations and the impact of data on society are integrated into the course.
