- GETC Area 5C An overview of beer and brewing including the history, malting, brewing, fermentation and packaging. Emphasis will be placed on the chemical processes involved at each stage as well as performing chemical analyses of inorganic and organic components throughout the brewing process. Requires a laboratory notebook and non-slip closed-toe shoes. � Chemistry 205
