Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course will cover the ecology and natural history of forest ecosystems covered in the field. Animals, plants, geology, and environmental impacts unique to forest and mountain areas will be studied and their interrelationship investigated. Assignments, field notes and appropriate exams/quizzes will be an integral part of the course. Students will be responsible for providing their own lodging or camping equipment and meals. Campsites will be available. Additional fees for tours or transportation may also be required. This course is ideal for anyone interested in nature, environmental topics, and the biological sciences.
