Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course covers historical and contemporary approaches to fabrication of metal and jewelry design. Sculptural jewelry forms will be made utilizing processes of fabricating, surfacing, soldering, forming and forging of metals. Steel hammers, anvils, and other equipment will be used in the class. Basic methods and techniques for use with silver and base metals will be covered. Students will need to purchase art materials and tools.Usually HeldFri 11:15am–2:30pm, Fri 9:00am–11:05am
