    Description
    This course focuses on developing ethical standards and communication skills in all aspects of nursing care, as well as how to cope with horizontal violence (bullying) in the healthcare setting. This course will also provide an overview of the role of the LVN through the lens of leadership and supervision, and the development of the basic skills that facilitate the management process. Career preparation skills will be emphasized, such as resume development, interviewing strategies, as well as professional expectations. Critical thinking skills will continue to be developed through practical application as well as preparation for the NCLEX-PN.
