Key topics include components of a proper prescription, laws and guidelines of drug use and development, patient safety in medication administration, the application of the nursing process, as well as specific drug information. Emphasis will be placed on the practical utilization of a drug guide to ensure the development of a safe approach to learning and administering new medications.
