    Description
    This course will cover concepts related to forest ecology and teach students practical skills necessary to apply ecological knowledge to effectively manage forests. Special attention will be given to Sierra Nevada forest ecosystems. Students will learn how forest ecology impacts forest growth and disturbance regimes. Students will learn how to develop effective forest management plans to meet specific management goals. Additionally, students will learn practical skills related to prescription implementation.
