Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to wildland fire and its relationship and interactions with the environment. Major topic areas include: the basics of fire, fire exclusion and policy, fire history, traditional ecological knowledge and cultural burning, fuels, fuels sampling and quantification, fire and fuel modeling, and prescribed fire as a management tool.
