    Description
    This interdisciplinary course introduces students to the field of environmental studies, and emphasizes connections between people and their environment. Through the exploration of literature in the field, and in reflective outdoor experiences, students will develop an appreciation for their personal relationship with the natural world. Students will also learn about the significance and intersections of, history, social, political, and philosophical movements in determining relationships between people and nature across time and place.
