Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis is a classroom-based skills course designed to prepare the prospective fireline supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations by fulfilling the coursework for National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) course S-290. It is the second course in a series that collectively serves to develop fire behavior prediction knowledge and skills. Fire environment differences are discussed as necessary; instructor should stress local conditions. This course may be scheduled with to-be-arranged (TBA) hours, where specific meeting days and times will be determined during the semester, closer to the official course start date, to accommodate shifting weather conditions and the availability of support personnel, facilities, and equipment.Usually HeldFri Sat Sun 8:00am–4:50pm, Mon 8:00am–3:50pm, Thu 1:00pm–4:50pm, Thu 8:00am–12:50pm
