    Description
    This course will help students develop skills to be successful in college through immersion in the campus community, services and resources, and cultivate college-level survival skills in the areas of academic performance (reading, note-taking, memorization, critical and analytical thinking, time management, studying and test-taking, and computer literacy), educational planning (understanding and following college policies and procedures from admissions through graduation), career exploration/planning (occupational research, personal and lifestyle value assessment, goal setting and learning plans), and life skills (intra- and interpersonal communication, decision-making, health and wellness, money management, and taking care of personal needs such as housing and transportation).
