- This course is an overview of forensic anthropology, which is an applied field of physical anthropology. Human skeletal remains will be analyzed using a comparative method to determine age, sex, race, time of death, trauma, and pathology for identification purposes. Forensic anthropology is used in crime scene investigation of homicides, missing persons, human rights investigations and mass disasters.
