    Description
    This course will focus on the management of broodmares and training of young horses. Emphasis is given to safe and practical behavioral handling techniques and current management practices for the health and care of the broodmare, as well as the care and training of the weanling horse in the fall. Students will advance in the topic areas and techniques introduced in AGEQ 214 and enhance their understanding and skill development.
