    Description
    This course provides an introduction to equine behavior and horse training necessary to work with untrained horses. Students will participate in an accelerated classroom setting where they will be introduced to starting the young horse under saddle, riding techniques, horse training theories and equine behavior concepts. Students will develop their knowledge through lectures and practical hands-on experience. In this intensive course, students will have the opportunity to work with multiple horses including young horses with limited training.
