    This course introduces students to the principles involved in handling and training horses with an emphasis on the historical perspectives and technical development of the unique cooperation between horses and humans. Topics include equine behavior patterns and training philosophy, evolution of horsemanship, development of training equipment, and alternative equine health care and therapies.
