    This course examines contemporary issues in the criminal justice system system, including but not limited to: juvenile delinquency, crime rates and racial discrimination; the death penalty; domestic and family violence; punishment and rehabilitation in the correctional system, police misconduct, police brutality, and excessive use of force.
