- Description
- Students are introduced to basic theories and methods of stage lighting for all production types. Students examine stage lighting optics, instrument selection and rigging, color theory, basic electricity, circuiting and control systems, and lighting design principles. The course emphasizes technical lighting facts, aesthetics, and design concept development. Students may be required to attend a play.
