Using biopsychosocial paradigm, student will explore risk factors, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations and treatment modalities used in nursing management of common alterations in mental health. Students will apply nursing sciences in a variety of mental health and psychiatric care settings, where they will practice provision of nursing care to individuals and groups experiencing alterations in mental health.
