    Description
    This is the second part of a two part series surveying the development of English (Anglophone) Literature from the 18th Century to the present. The course will present significant examples of epic, lyric, drama and prose writings of the finest authors writing in England and the British Empire from the Romantic, Victorian, Edwardian, Modern and Postmodern periods. The course will contain lectures, discussions, group work, and other student centered learning activities. Evaluations will be based on in- and out-of-class analytical essays, examinations, research reports, and class work. (C-ID ENGL 165)
